We read everything. We reply to most things within a couple of working days, though we are a small operation rather than a support desk, so please be patient if it takes a little longer.
What we are good for
- Corrections. If a price, feature or claim on this site is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Hosting pricing moves constantly and we would rather be corrected than confidently wrong.
- Review requests. If there is a host you want us to look at, say so. We cannot promise a timeline, but we do keep a list.
- Buying questions. If you are stuck between two plans and the answer is not on the site, ask. We will give you an honest opinion, including “neither” where that is the right answer.
- Feedback on our writing. Including the unflattering kind.
What we cannot help with
To save you time, we are not able to assist with:
- Technical support for your hosting account. We are not a hosting company. If your site is down or your email has stopped working, your host’s support team is the right place, and they will resolve it far faster than we can.
- Billing, refunds or cancellations. These sit with your provider. We have no access to your account and cannot intervene.
- Guest posts and link insertions. We do not publish sponsored posts and we do not sell links. Pitches of this kind will not receive a reply.
- Paid placement in our rankings. Rankings are not for sale at any price. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how the site actually makes money.
For hosting providers
If you represent a hosting company and believe we have described your product inaccurately, email us with the specifics and we will check it against your published documentation and correct it if you are right. We will not remove accurate criticism, but we will always fix a factual error.
We do not accept payment for reviews, ratings or ranking positions, and no provider sees our content before it is published. Our methodology is set out on the How We Test page.
